Put an end to your dog's bad behavior

When training a dog, it's important that you use positive reinforcement. For example, if your dog does something correctly, you should give it praise and a reward. Give your dog a treat if it obeys your commands. If you keep doing this repeatedly you would eventually not have to keep rewarding your dog.

Tone of voice is also important. When giving commands such as come, use a friendly tone, and when giving commands such as sit and stay, use a firm tone. If your dog behaves well or does something correctly, praise in a friendly tone. If your dog behaves bad or does something incorrectly, criticize in a firm tone.

When your dog does something incorrectly or has an accident in the house, you should handle it in a certain way. There are several ways of handling this. When doing so, you should let your dog know that you are angry. You should let them know that you don't want him/her to do what it just did. One thing you should not do is beating your dog. This will make your dog afraid of you.

When training your dog, your goal is to gain his/her trust. You want to build a strong relationship with your dog. I believe that a strong relationship with your dog is most important when training your dog.
